Write from the Heart

As part of a Write from the Heart online course for Woodbrooke I created three community poems about writing. I invited participants to give short responses to three prompts and then wove these contributions together to create the poems.

I'm sharing one here, but if you would like to read them all, please do drop me a line.

It's such a joy to play with words in this way and to give something back to the group who have given so generously of themselves during the course.

Hopes from every journey

My writing reflects my life journey and

my hopes and my dreams and

my thoughts and my hopes and

my imaginings

All my hopes

from the past

how far I have travelled

and how I have unravelled

hitherto

All those future journeys

My writing reflects a host of memories

to be treasured

It answers why

unknown connections made
